1) Never do more than 5 or 6 minutes of ultrasonic every half hour. 2) Only add water as it evaporates (not more new solution) to maintain level of solution after initial fill up of tank. 3) During the ultrasonic cycle use the block (gently moving it acress the roll back and forth) to help remove ink that is ready to come off rolls. After 5 or 6 minutes of ultrasonics, whatever dark spots or sections are still on the roll indicates more soaking time is needed. 4) When roll is done, do not remove roll over turner to avoid getting solution on it. 5) Rinse roll with tap water and dry with cloth or paper towel. 6) For SS-2800 (single roll cleaner), one tank full of solution will last approximately 150 inches of roll cleaning. Perhaps you can record the amount of cleanings at the tank. * This guide is for first time use and until all rolls have been cleaned once. After first time cleaning, you may get twice the amount of inches per tank full depending on how often rolls are cleaned and how dirty they are between cleanings. Eventually you will discover how many rolls you can clean per tank full of solution. You can also use these techniques as a guideline to regular use of our cleaning systems. The differences may vary but the time spent soaking should be reduced. |
